"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him." -Psalm 34:8
(Let's take a little break from our Organized Homemaking series and have a little fun!)
In the midst of all the holiday craziness, un-decorating, cleaning up, traveling and on and on it goes, it can be very easy to let life bounce you around like a soccer ball!
Don't let it! Stop and smell those roses! Breathe in that crisp January air! Choose joy!
Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to snap a daily picture of any one sweet, beautiful thing you can find in the messy mix of life with kids.
Yes, there's glitter and pine needles in every corner of your home. Yes, half your family has caught a cold. Yes, you're probably getting tired of the short days.
But as I tell my kids (and myself): The world is full of thorns and roses, but you get to choose what you focus on.
So what's it going to be? Roses or Thorns? The Sweet or the Messy?
Share your Daily Sweet in the Facebook Group, or Put it on Instagram with the hashtag #sweetinthemessy.
I can't wait to see it!
"We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses."
