Feeling Hungry?Christian mamas are always pouring themselves out for their families. Sometimes we are so busy taking care of others, that we forget to eat!
I don't know about you, but I get CRANK-AY when my body runs out of fuel! And if there's one thing I've learned as a Mama, it's that Jesus wasn't kidding around when He called Himself the Bread of Life! I start to fall apart pretty quickly when I haven't had enough soul food! "I am the bread of life, whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty." -John 6:35 |
My Own Struggle
I have five kids. I know what it's like to bounce from helping one kid with his history lesson to another with her reading to helping a teen cook something to finding where the toddler put their favorite toy. And I know that when you're bouncing a baby on your hip in the midst of it, it's very easy to drop into bed at the end of the day without ever going near your Bible.
Pretty soon you get soul hungry.
Pretty soon you get soul hungry.
"Blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." -Matt. 5:6
Moms get a lot of advice about making time for God. But it all seems to boil down to the same 'ole just wake up earlier.
Tell that to the Mama who got up with her baby seven times last night. It's just mean!
