![]() So this summer I focused my sketches on fairies. I had a really great time, because my daughters are too small to enjoy Milana (yet), but they are big on fairies. To be totally transparent, I'm not really sure if people will be interested in a Bible journal that has fairies. I have a feeling that it's going to get one of two responses:
The thing is, I am a fantasy writer. I am a fantasy reader. I have written proof that there has been at least one other believer on this planet who was able to put centaurs, unicorns, fauns, and dryads under their Creator and enjoy them for the fantastic imaginings they are (his name was Jack. He wrote these great little books you might want to check out). The other thing is this: I don't write (or draw) for everyone. I do it for my King. His children are all so very, very different. So when I'm creating, I am trying to use my talents for my kin. Not just my little tribe running around our home, but my other kin (like you). Others who long for a Kingdom that is bigger than what we can see right now. It's a very freeing thing, this not trying to please everyone. You should try it. Comments are closed.
